The concept of Social dynamics is premised on the assumption that individuals are influenced by one another’s behavior. The behavior of group resulting from the interactions of individual group members is what is referred to as social dynamics. The concept of social dynamics is compared to system dynamics. Like system dynamics, social dynamics is concerned with changes over time and emphasizes the role of feedback’s. Social dynamics focuses on individual level behavior, and recognizes the importance of heterogeneity across individuals. Scholars of social dynamics are often interested in dynamic behavior, that is, behavior that changes over time. In other words, social dynamics is a process of progressive evolution in which people become cumulatively more intelligent and in which altruism eventually triumphs over egoism. This process is one that people can modify or accelerate, but in the end the laws of progressive development dictate the development of society.

Communication is conveying the message of what is intended from one entity or group to another through the use of mutually understood signs and rules. The ability to communicate effectively with superiors, colleagues, and staff is essential, no matter what industry you work in. Workers in the digital age must know how to effectively convey and receive messages in person as well as via phone, email, and social media. Good communication skills will help get hired, land promotions, and be a success throughout your career.

Communication goes through a number of stages mentioned below:

  • The first stage is formation of communicative motivation ,that is, first decide why a need to convey some message  has arisen
  • Message composition, that is, how a message is to be conveyed or expressed is something which is internally deliberated upon.
  • Then there is the stage of message encoding, that is, the means adopted to send or convey digital data, written text, speech, pictures, and gestures and so on.
  • Then using a specific medium or channel of transmission of the encoded  message
  • Reception of the message
  • Decoding or understanding the message.
  • Interpretation and making sense of the message.

The art of communication is broadly divided into two types non-verbal and verbal. Non-verbal communication, as the term suggests, is conveying the message without using the language, that is, in non-linguistic manner such as body language, gestures, facial expressions and eye contact. The dressing style is also a part of non–verbal communication. Non-verbal communication also relates to intent of a message. Moreover it also includes shaking a hand or winking and sweating which also conveys a message of intent. Though non-verbal communication may well replace verbal communication, however, it is ambiguous and inadequate. In such a situation when non-verbal message clash or contradict with verbal message, the observer has to rely on another’s attitudes and feelings, rather than assuming the truth of the verbal message alone.

Communication is paramount when trying to raise the level of understanding in your organization. The key to communicating is to use multiple platforms or media to communicate the same message. And you will probably have to communicate the same message three to six times, before the message is heard and understood. In modern times, communication has gradually evolved and taken many forms. In present times, the phenomena of telecommunication and information technology have occupied every nook and corner of human life. It is one of the most potent tools in development of personal talents and abilities, so has to be given top priority in the development of personality.
