Invites applications for recruitment to the post of
‘Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff.’
Closing Date for Receipt of online Applications—January 30, 2017.
Age Limit—The age of the candidate should be between 18 years and 25 years as on August 1, 2017. It means he/she must have been born not earlier than August 2, 1992 and not later than August 1, 1999. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be given as per the set government norms.
Essential Educational Qualifications—Candidate must have passed Matriculation examination or equivalent from a government approved Board or Institution.
Selection Procedure—There will be two papers in the examination. First paper will be objective type while the second one will be descriptive type in nature. The first paper will carry 150 objective type questions of one mark each. Second paper will be descriptive in which the candidate will be required to write short essay, letter etc. in English or any language included in the 8th schedule of the constitution. Paper II will be only of qualifying nature, carrying 50 maximum marks.
Final selection will be made on the basis of candidate’s performance in the Paper I.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC), conducts Open Competitive Examinations and/or Interviews for recruitment to all Group “B”, “C” & “D” posts; in the various Ministries/Departments of the Govt. of India and their Attached and Subordinate Offices including Indian Foreign Service (B)/Railway Board Secretariat Clerical Service/Armed Forces Hqrs. Clerical Service; Inspectors of Central Excise & Income-Tax; Sub-Inspectors in Central Bureau of Investigation and Central Police Organisations; Divisional Accountants, Auditors and Accountants; Junior Engineer (Civil & Electrical) in CPWD, Non-Ministerial, General Central Services (Technical) post and Statistical Investigators, Grade IV of Subordinate Statistical Service (SSC), and all other Non-Technical & Technical posts in various Government Departments. The Commission also holds Departmental Examination for promotion from lower Grades to higher Grades.
The examinations are held as far as possible at different centers and successful candidates posted, to the extent possible, to their home State/Region. Government strives to have a workforce that reflects gender balance and women candidates are encouraged to apply.
Combined Graduate Level Examination is conducted by SSC for selecting candidates for filling up different categories of posts in various Ministries/ Departments/ Organisations and the scheme of examination is as under:
- Tier -I — Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
- General Intelligence & Reasoning
- General Awareness
- Quantitative Aptitude
- English Comprehension
- Tier -II — Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
Compulsory Paper:
Paper I : Quantitative Ability
Paper II : English Language & Comprehension
Paper III : Statistics – for Investigator Grade-II, Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation & Compiler in RGI
Paper IV: General Studies (Finance and Economics) – for the post of Assistant Audit Officer in Indian Audit & Accounts Department under CAG.
- Tier -III — Computer Proficiency Test/ Skill Test (wherever applicable).
The Commission reserves the right to make changes in the scheme of examination such as conduct of Tier-I and Tier-II examination in computer based mode, treating Tier-I examination as only qualifying etc.
Interview component has been dispensed with. There is, therefore, no interview.

(i) Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer :
(a)Essential Qualifications : Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute.
(b)Desirable Qualifications : Chartered Accountant or cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters in
Commerce or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics.
(ii) Junior Statistical Officer : Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level :
Or
Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.
(iii) All other Posts : Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
Scheme of Examination—The Examination will be conducted in four tiers as indicated below—
Tier-I— Computer Based Examination
Tier-II— Computer Based Examination
Tier-III —Pen and Paper Mode (Descriptive paper)
Tier-IV —Computer Proficiency Test/Skill Test (wherever applicable)/Document Verification
Tier-I will carry total 100 questions of 2 marks each. There will be four sections in the Tier-I examination—General Intelligence Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension. There will be 25 questions in each section. Successful candidates in the Tier-I part will be invited for Tier-II.

Invites online applications from eligible candidates for ‘Recruitment of Sub-Inspector
in Delhi Police, CAPFs and Assistant Sub-Inspectors in CISF Examination–2017.
Last Date for Submission of Online Applications—May 15, 2017.
Age Limit—Age limits for the post of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and CAPFs and Assistant Sub-Inspector in CISF is 20 to 25 years as on January 1, 2017. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be given as per the commission’s norms.
Essential Educational Qualifications—Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a government recognized university or equivalent.
Selection Procedure—The Written Examination will consist of two papers of 200 objective type multiple choice questions in each paper. There will be four parts in first paper i.e., General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension. Each section will carry 50 MCQs of one mark for each question. Successful candidates in the first paper are required to clear the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST) and Medical Examination before appearing in the second paper. The second paper will carry 200 MCQs of one mark each of English Language and Comprehension. Candidates’ performance in the Paper I and paper II will decide their selection.
