Six Rules to Lose Weight in Two Weeks

Last Updated on September 29, 2015 by Bharat Saini

Rule #1
The human body is 75% water, which means that if you really want to lose weight, you must get rid of some of this percentage. You have to drink at least 10 cups of water a day, otherwise you will not shed those extra pounds as fast as you’d want them to, because the whole process will be slowed down.
By drinking enough water you will be able to go on without food for longer periods of time, which means that you will have a lower calorie intake. It will also help you to improve your health, because it has 0 calories and it will flush all the toxins from your body.
Rule #2
If you want to lose weight you need to do so much more than dieting. You also need to increase the level of your physical activities for whatever you’re doing right now to intense. This way you can be sure that once you’ve lost the weight that you wanted you will not gain it back later. You need to exercise, because by doing so you will increase your core temperature, which will make you sweat and burn excess fat. If this is your first time in a long while, you need to take it easy and only work out about 45 minutes a day, 3 days a week.
As you go along and you feel your stamina and resistance building you can increase the time you spend exercising to one hour a day, 4 days a week. You can do whatever form of physical activity, as long as you enjoy it. You can walk, run, swim, stair step, row or rope jump. Because of the fact that we all have such busy lives, fitting an exercise routine into our daily schedule can be a difficult thing to do, but it all really depends on how much do you want to lose those extra pounds

If you are willing to make sacrifices, you will achieve the results that you want.

Rule #3
Weight training is a good idea when it comes to weight loss, because it will help you build muscle mass, therefore increasing your metabolism and making you burn calories even after you’ve stopped working out, not to mention that it will also aid you in reaching your goal of losing weight in 2 weeks. As an added plus, by doing weight training you will strengthen you bones and your health, therefore making life easier for yourself as you get older.
Rule #4
You can also increase the rate at which you are losing those extra pounds by eating more white than dark meat, because the later one contains about 15% more calories than the first one. Let me give you an example: a turkey breast contains 155 calories, while the same amount of dark meat has 185 calories. Might not seem like much, but trust me, it will all add up, if you’re not careful.
Rule #5
Weight loss also requires you to change the way you cook your food. You have to stop frying and start steaming it. It can be easily prepared and by doing so you will ensure that you’ll have a low calorie intake. And don’t think for a second that you will have to eat the same thing every day, because there’s a huge variety to choose from.
Rule #6
And lastly, but perhaps most importantly, you must enjoy the food you eat while on a diet. So cook for yourself, but only things that you are willing to eat, there’s no use in forcing yourself. Just keep in mind that food doesn’t have to be rich in calories in order for it to be delicious. If you are the sort of person who likes to eat a lot, you can try eating foods that need a lot of chewing and crunching. This way you will reduce your chances of overeating and you will also burn more calories.

These are a few simple tips that you need to follow in order to reach your goal of losing weight in 2 weeks!
