New tools or applications that can help improve our workflow

‘Digital’ is the buzzword today. Digital describes electronic technology that generates, stores, and processes data. Digital technology is primarily used with new physical communications media, such as satellite and fiber optic transmission. But it is also affecting, influencing, and shaping human life by providing many tools that can help the workflow become more efficient and hassle-free at our office and workplace. These tools have become very critical for professionals and technocrats in finding a solutions to problem at work. In technology- a conscious world if we do not have these tools integrated with our work system we may feel handicapped.

We may list some of those below to comprehend their significance as wonderful assistants in the official tasks and objectives:

Google Docs is a wonderful technological tool that facilitates the creation, storage, and sharing of documents online by integrating with Gmail. Google Docs include a word processing application, spreadsheet, databases, presentations, and much more. The real-time collaboration among team members in an office is another striking feature of Google Docs. Integrated with online storage, they provide much of the functionality of Microsoft Word. They also serve as good helpers to keep documents moving between team members while dealing with big files or overactive spam filters.

Dropbox tools are omnipresent now. Dropbox has come to stay as one of the most important productivity tools for mobile entrepreneurs and virtual teams. Dropbox is cloud hard drive software that helps in the storage of files online. It helps to synchronize files across different computers so that they can be shared with concerned team members or on your own computers.

Roboform is another tool used as a password manager which makes it easy to keep track of various other passwords and the user has not have to type them each time he logs in. It helps because it is very difficult and impractical to remember so many passwords. Roboform is a good choice as a password manager. It is easy and compatible as compared to any other software providing similar services.

Producteev is task management software used to manage teams and workflow. This software is a task management system used to break down big projects into manageable steps.  Producteev is a complete system that performs several tasks such as managing different workers on a project as it easily breaks down the work and assigns tasks amongst them.

Boomerang is a tool that allows you to turn Gmail into a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and task tracker, it’s all in one. Boomerang notifies you when someone doesn’t respond to your email even after several days and thereby helps the user to ensure that nothing falls through the cracks. The software also works as an aid in scheduling emails to be sent at a later time, for instance, if you compose an e-mail  at 1a.m. after midnight but want it  to be sent at 7a.m. in the morning (before you wake up), you can schedule Boomerang to send it as per your intention.

Google voice help the user in setting up a phone number that forwards to another number of his choice, that is, a virtual number that forwards on to your cell phone. It is a good option for those who use their mobile phone as their primary business contact, but don’t want to share that number with everyone. Google voice is used to get in touch with people directly while maintaining anonymity. This software also serves as a mobile voicemail system, and hence records messages that come in.
