Invites online applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Civil Judge
(Junior Division) in the cadre of Haryana Civil Service (Judicial Branch).
Last Date for Submission of Online Applications—April 24, 2017.
Age Limit—The age of the candidate should not be less than 21 years and not more than 42 years as on April 24, 2017. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be given as per the set norms.
Essential Educational Qualifications—No person shall be eligible to be appointed a Civil Judge (Junior Division) unless he holds a degree of Bachelor of Laws from a University established by the law and approved/ recognized by the Bar Council of India on or before closing date i.e., 24.4.2017.
The expression ‘Degree of Bachelor of Laws’ means a degree entitling a candidate to be enrolled as an Advocate under the Advocate Act, 1961, and the rules made there under.
The candidates should hold the degree of Bachelor of Law on or before the closing date for submission of online application form i.e., 24.4.2017.
Number of Vacancies—109.
Selection Procedure—The examination will comprise three stages namely—
- Preliminary Examination, 2. Main Examination, 3. Viva-Voce.
The Preliminary Examination shall be of objective type with Multiple Choice questions. The Preliminary Examination will consist of 125 questions of 4 marks each. It will serve the screening purpose only as the marks obtained in it shall not be counted towards final result. Successful candidates in the Preliminary Examination will be invited for the Main Examination. Final selection will be made on the basis of candidate’s performance in the Main Examination and viva-voce.
